For more information on the Philadelphia LANDvisions international DESIGN COMPETITION , visit www.landvisions.

The “community visioning” phase of the design competition, entitled “Our Voices, Our Future,” includes three large public forums:

Public Community Visioning Session:  May 5, 4-8 pm (registration required)

River Corridors Visioning Session: May 18, 4-8pm

Neighborhoods Session: May 25, 4-8pm

The first design phase of the competition kicks off in September. It is an open competition and all are encouraged to enter and present their ideas for vacant land – young and old, students and professionals, community groups and neighborhood residents, designers and policy makers. Community-based organizations interested in teaming up with architects to participate in the competition should contact the Community Design Collaborative (www.cdesignc.org).
